Granny and Grampa

The rest of Mom and Dad's visit was pretty quiet. I think they were glad to see me return to work for the second week of their visit..... they got lots of quality time alone with Jaydan. They all got to be pretty good buddies. Jaydan was like Grampa's shadow and got into the habit of following both of them around to the point that he would stand outside and pound on the bathroom door, calling their names while they showered!! They played OUTSIDE a lot at Jaydan's insistence and they all enjoyed that!!! Grampa did lots of odd jobs around the house for us and I'm sure the baby was lots of help. Granny cleaned while I was at work and was there for the hugs and kisses side of things. There is something pretty precious about seeing your child interact with your parents and I feel blessed that we got such a long visit this time!! We always miss them when the time comes for us to part ways, but the fact that J got so close to both of them this visit will make it harder for all of us. Up until now, I don't think he was cognitive enough to express that he misses them but I'm sure he'll be looking for them when he wakes from his nap this morning. Granny and Grampa, thank you for coming to see us (and everything you did while you were here). We will miss you lots until May!

Words cannot express the enjoyment that Grampa and I had during our stay. Jaydan has grown so much and is developing quite the personality!!! We love him dearly. The way that he and Grampa bonded was so sweet. It might have been that first little swat that he got from Grampa that made him realize that he probably shouldn't push this guy too far :o) All the neices, nephews learned that lesson too and then they all grew up to be best of buddies.
We really did enjoy the visit and it was VERY hard to say our good-bys. The idea that we were being greeted by Jazmyn and family in Boise did give us something to look forward to though.
We will be anxiously waiting for your trip to Idaho in May and in the mean time we will just hold on to the dear memories and those sweet southern drawls: bye, night, hi, football and the word that we heard the most, outsiiiiide. We love ya little buddy.
